Daniel Klein
Daniel Klein is a graduate of Harvard.
He wrote several novels, including four in the "Elvis, the Singing Sleuth" series:
Kill Me Tender (July 2000),
Blue Suede Clues (March 2002),
Viva Las Vengeance (March 2003),
and Such Vicious Minds (August 2004).
His novel "Magic Time" (1984) follows the life and times
of Timothy Leary and five of his young Harvard experimentees in the early days of
psychedelia. His other three novels, "Embryo" (1980), "Wavelengths" (1982) and "Beauty Sleep" (1990) are all medical
thrillers.
He is the co-author of the popular humor books Where's Elvis? (1997) and
"Plato and a Platypus Walk Into a Bar" (2008). He also wrote "The History of Now" (March 2009),
in which he portrays small town life intertwined with some fundamental questions in philosophy.
Daniel Klein lives in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and plans to continue adding
episodes to the Singing Sleuth series as appropriate to Elvis' life.
