Description: In this second volume on the impact of Elvis Presley in Spain, the author analyses the image of the singer in our country from his return to the stage in 1970 until 1990. In the 1970s he was once again portrayed in an unfortunate manner at a general level, despite his great successes, such as the broadcast of the television special "Aloha From Hawaii" in 1973 and an extremely brilliant discography. We will also find in this volume a passionate defence of the King in the face of books such as that of Gaspar Fraga and others that appeared after his premature death in 1977 and that are full of inaccuracies and imprecisions. Despite being the closest in time, this stage of Elvis' life is perhaps the least known. The author, Rubén Olivares Rosell, supported by an extensive bibliography and newspaper archive, analyses in depth the contradictions, the lack of criteria and the commendable enthusiasm of Spanish fans to vindicate the figure of Elvis Presley and his immense legacy. The first edition was publised in 2022 and a second edition appeared in 2024.
