The book describes a selection of iconic moments in the life of Elvis Presley during the seventies including, record breaking performances at the Houston Astrodome, New York Madison Square Garden and the Pontiac Silverdome, the concert documentaries "That's The Way It Is" and "On Tour", the meeting with President Nixon, special awards, the fabled "Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite" live TV concert, the sadness of his divorce and the ultimate tragedy of his death, when Elvis paid the price for ever lasting fame. For over twenty years Elvis had given his all till he had nothing left to give. The iconic moments continued all the way to the end. These iconic moments are described with photographs and over twenty-five accompanying sketches that the reader can colour to create their own impression of that moment in history. This is volume 3 of 3. Also released as paperback. A kindle-edition with all three volumes as a single edition was also released. The sketches were omitted in the single volume and additional photographs were included. Source: book back cover. |
