Description: This book chronicles Elvis' appearance in the second Ed Sullivan Show from October 28, 1956. This day was a busy one in the Elvis' world. He rehearsed for his second appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, gave a press conference, posed for pictures as he was given a polio shot. Then, in the evening, at 8:00 he appeared on TV, singing "Don't Be Cruel," "Love Me," "Love Me Tender" and "Hound Dog." In the meantime during the same day, not too far off, a giant cut-out of Elvis above the marquee of the Times Square Paramount Theater was unveiled, announcing the upcoming premiere of Love Me Tender.
